Autumn brings earlier sunsets. There's nothing cool about that. However, these earlier sunsets have been beautiful. Something about the still air makes the atmosphere subtle and glorious at the same time. The Lady and I were returning to the station after letting her dog out last night when I noticed the lovely Charlotte, USA 'skyline.' I dropped her off and snapped a couple of pictures on the way to the government center. The above picture was taken on Euclid Avenue north of Morehead Street.
This is basically the same angle as the other one, but this is on Caldwell Street over I-277. Jim Travers' camera takes excellent pictures without the flash. We've got about a month left of these nice sunsets.
